HOW TO DO BATTLE ROPE WAVES
- Anchor the rope securely, take one end in each hand, and step back until both sides have some slack for waves.
- Stand with soft knees, hips back slightly, and your trunk braced.
- Alternate lifting and snapping each hand down to send even waves toward the anchor while keeping your shoulders relaxed and wrists mostly neutral.
- Make the waves with quick arm action rather than excessive trunk rocking.
- Shorten the interval, slow the cadence, or move closer to scale the effort; step farther back or produce larger, faster waves only while their shape remains consistent.
