HOW TO DO SEATED CALF EXTENSION

  1. Adjust the seat or starting position so your back and pelvis remain supported and the balls of both feet rest securely on the platform or designated pedals.
  2. Keep your heels free to move and your knees slightly bent.
  3. Press through the forefeet and move the platform away by extending your ankles.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then lower your heels under control until you feel a comfortable stretch in the calves.
  5. Keep the knee angle steady and avoid assisting the movement by bending or extending the hips and knees.
