HOW TO DO SINGLE-ARM CABLE ROW
- Attach one handle around lower-rib height and stand, kneel, or sit in a stable position facing the pulley.
- Reach the working arm forward, then drive its elbow back and pull the handle toward your lower ribs while keeping your torso mostly square.
- Return slowly and let the shoulder blade glide forward without losing trunk control.
- Avoid rotating to manufacture extra range or shrugging the shoulder toward your ear.
- A small, intentional amount of trunk rotation can be trained with a lighter load, but keep it consistent; the unilateral setup reveals side-to-side differences without guaranteeing that it will correct them.
