HOW TO DO KNEELING SINGLE-ARM LAT PULLDOWN

  1. Attach one handle to the high pulley and kneel far enough back that the working arm can reach overhead with the cable taut.
  2. Start tall, then drive the elbow down toward the same-side ribs as you pull the handle toward the shoulder or upper chest.
  3. Return slowly and allow a comfortable overhead reach without losing your rib and pelvic position.
  4. Avoid side-bending or leaning backward to shorten the pull.
  5. Half-kneeling usually offers more balance than both knees down, while a slight torso turn can match the shoulder's natural path if used deliberately and consistently.
