HOW TO DO UNILATERAL CABLE HIGH ROW
- Set one handle above shoulder height and use a stable standing, seated, or half-kneeling position facing the pulley.
- Reach upward, then pull the elbow down and slightly back as the handle travels toward your upper ribs.
- Let the shoulder blade rotate upward on the controlled return while keeping your trunk mostly square.
- Avoid yanking with a torso twist or dropping the elbow so low that this becomes a standard low row.
- Pulley height and elbow flare determine whether the upper back or lats receive more emphasis; match the setup on both sides when assessing differences rather than assuming the movement will correct them.
