Bridge Hold

Time

Straighten the elbows only as far as the wrists, shoulders, and spine can share the curve comfortably; keep the knees tracking over the feet and breathe. The full bridge is an advanced loaded-extension position for the wrists, shoulders, spinal extensors, glutes, and legs, not a stretch to force. Build with glute bridges, thoracic and shoulder preparation, and elevated bridges. Use a clear padded surface, lower by tucking the chin carefully, and stop at neck, back, or shoulder pain.
