HOW TO DO V-SIT HOLD
- Support yourself on the floor or stable parallettes with elbows straight and shoulders pressed down.
- From an L-sit, actively lift the straight legs higher toward the torso while the hips remain off the ground, forming a V shape.
- Keep the chest tall, knees locked, and trunk compressed without holding the breath or leaning back onto the shoulders.
- The V-sit is an advanced progression requiring strong hip flexors and abdominals, triceps-supported shoulder depression, and substantial hamstring mobility.
- Build long, clean L-sits and seated compression lifts first.
- Use higher handles or a slightly bent-knee position as needed, accumulate short holds, and stop when the elbows bend or hips touch down.
