HOW TO DO STANDING MACHINE HIP THRUST

  1. Position yourself in the machine with the padded support resting securely across your pelvis or upper thighs.
  2. Plant both feet, hold the handles, and begin with your hips flexed and your knees slightly bent.
  3. Brace your core, press through your whole feet, and drive your hips forward until you reach an upright position.
  4. Keep your knees moving in the same general direction as your toes and use the handles for support rather than pulling yourself upright.
