Standing Cable Chest Press — chest compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Standing Cable Chest Press

Compound · Weight × reps

Let the shoulder blades move around the rib cage as you press and return under control. Avoid flaring the ribs, shrugging, or allowing the cables to twist your torso. The standing setup adds a balance and trunk-control demand; reduce the load or use a staggered stance before trying to match weights from a supported chest press.
