Spiderman Push-Up — chest compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Spiderman Push-Up

Compound · Weight × reps

From a firm high plank, lower into a push-up while bringing one knee forward and outward toward the elbow on the same side without setting the foot down or twisting the pelvis. This variation combines the usual chest, triceps, and shoulder press with active hip flexion and additional trunk control. Move slowly enough to prevent the knee action from shortening or distorting the push-up. Use a smaller range or an incline if the hips sag or the shoulder position changes.
