HOW TO DO REVERSE PLANK

  1. Sit with legs extended and place the hands behind the hips, fingers pointing forward or slightly outward as comfort allows.
  2. Press through the palms and heels, extend the hips, and lift until the shoulders, pelvis, knees, and ankles form a long line.
  3. Keep the chest open, glutes engaged, and head neutral rather than hanging backward.
  4. Adjust the hand angle or use handles for the wrists, and stop if the front of the shoulder feels pinched.
