Human Flag Raise — abs compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Human Flag Raise

Compound · Weight × reps · Time

From a controlled side-support position, brace the trunk and raise the hips and legs together toward horizontal without bending the body or jerking from the floor. The human-flag raise dynamically loads the shoulders, latissimus, arms, grip, obliques, and trunk through an increasingly long lever. First master static flag progressions at the same body shape, then use tucked, one-leg, or straddle raises. Train both sides, inspect the structure, clear the area, and stop when either shoulder or elbow loses position.
