Human Flag Hold

Time

The upper arm pulls while the lower arm presses, creating opposing forces as you lift the feet and extend the body sideways. The human flag is an elite isometric skill placing high loads on the shoulders, latissimus, arms, grip, obliques, and connective tissues. Build vertical flag supports, tucked holds, and progressively longer lever shapes first, training both sides. Inspect the structure and surrounding clearance, use mats and a spotter when appropriate, and never jump into a full flag without controlled prerequisites.
