Cable Hip Abduction — glutes isolation exercise in the LIFTAG library

Cable Hip Abduction

Isolation · Weight × reps

Fasten an ankle cuff to the low pulley and stand side-on with the cuffed leg farther from the stack, holding the frame for balance. Avoid leaning away or swinging the leg to create extra height. A small backward leg angle may fit the hip better than moving exactly sideways; adjust stance and range so the motion stays at the hip without claiming the gluteal muscles work alone.
