HOW TO DO TURKISH GET-UP
- Lie on your back with the kettlebell held over one shoulder, the same-side knee bent, and the opposite limbs extended.
- Keeping the load stacked over the supporting arm, roll to the opposite elbow and hand, bridge the hips, sweep the straight leg underneath into half-kneeling, then rise to stand.
- Reverse each step slowly to return to the floor.
- The Turkish get-up integrates shoulder stability, trunk control, hip mobility, and coordinated transitions rather than targeting one muscle.
- Learn the exact sequence first with no load or a light object, keep your eyes on the bell during floor transitions, and never rush beneath an unstable overhead weight.
