Standing Bench Press — chest compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Standing Bench Press

Compound · Weight × reps

Establish contact with any torso pad, brace the trunk and glutes, and press the handles forward until the elbows are straight without leaning or flaring the ribs. Return slowly while keeping the shoulders controlled and stance stable. The standing guided press trains the pectorals, triceps, and anterior deltoids while the legs and trunk resist movement; machine geometry determines the exact path. Stop if the fixed path pulls the shoulders into discomfort.
