Skater Squat

Compound · Weight × reps

Reach the arms forward for balance, maintain the whole stance foot, and keep the knee tracking with the toes. Lightly touch the target if used, then drive through the stance leg to rise without pushing from the rear foot. The skater squat trains unilateral quadriceps and glute strength with balance and hip-control demands; it often requires less forward leg clearance than a pistol, but ankle needs vary.
