Single-Leg Dumbbell Deadlift — hamstrings compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Single-Leg Dumbbell Deadlift

Compound · Weight × reps

Push the working hip backward as your free leg reaches behind you and the weights descend close to the stance leg, then extend the hip to stand. Avoid opening the free hip or reaching toward the floor by rounding. Light fingertip support can make this a stronger hinge exercise by reducing balance limits; contralateral and ipsilateral loading create different trunk demands, so record which hand holds the weight.
