Seated Leg Lift — abs isolation exercise in the LIFTAG library

Seated Leg Lift

Isolation · Weight × reps · Time

The seated leg lift trains active hip flexion through the iliopsoas and other hip flexors, with the quadriceps keeping the knee straight and the abdominals stabilizing the pelvis. It does not isolate a separate lower-abdominal region. Move the hands farther back, lift one leg, or sit on a cushion to adjust difficulty, and use only a range that avoids hip pinching or thigh cramp.
