Reverse Nordic Curl — quadriceps isolation exercise in the LIFTAG library

Reverse Nordic Curl

Isolation · Weight × reps

Travel only as far as the quadriceps can control, then contract them to return without bending at the hips. The reverse Nordic provides a long-length, mostly eccentric-to-concentric challenge for the quadriceps, particularly rectus femoris, but evidence does not show universally greater activation than squat-based exercises. Begin with a shallow range or band assistance, increase exposure gradually, and stop if kneecap pressure or anterior knee pain rises.
