Pistol Squat

Compound · Weight × reps

Reach forward for balance, then drive through the foot to stand without bouncing or twisting. The pistol squat demands substantial single-leg strength, ankle and hip mobility, and balance; depth should match the range you can control. Learn it with a support, counterweight, or box before attempting an unsupported full-depth repetition. Stop if the knee or hip becomes painful.
