Machine Decline Chest Press — chest compound exercise in the LIFTAG library

Machine Decline Chest Press

Compound · Weight × reps

Return under control without letting the elbows travel beyond a comfortable depth or the stack slam. The decline path trains the pectorals, triceps, and anterior deltoids and can change regional emphasis compared with flat pressing, but it does not isolate “lower chest” fibres or determine chest shape. Use the machine’s entry mechanism if provided, keep wrists neutral, and confirm that you can exit safely before loading heavily.
