HOW TO DO CROW POSE
- Squat and place the palms on the floor about shoulder-width apart with fingers spread.
- Bend the elbows slightly, set the knees high on the upper arms, and lean the chest forward until the toes become light.
- Lift one foot and then both, keeping the gaze ahead of the hands and pressing actively through the palms.
- Crow pose develops arm-balance awareness, wrist tolerance, shoulder and triceps support, and trunk compression, but beginners should expect gradual practice.
- Use a folded mat or cushion in front of the head, start with one foot supported or a block under the feet, and step down before the wrists tire or balance is lost.
