HOW TO DO CABLE LEG EXTENSION
- Attach an ankle cuff to the low pulley and sit on a stable bench with the cable behind you, or stand with the thigh held still.
- Begin with the working knee bent, straighten it until the leg is long without snapping the joint, then return slowly.
- Keep the thigh, pelvis, and trunk steady so the motion comes primarily from the knee.
- Avoid swinging the whole leg or choosing a position where the cable pulls the cuff down the ankle.
- A seated setup is usually easier to stabilize; adjust bench distance and pulley height so resistance remains smooth and use only a range your knee tolerates.
