Wall Walk

Compound · Weight × reps

Begin in a high plank with the soles against a sturdy wall. Approach only as close as you can maintain active shoulders and a controlled body line, then reverse the steps until both feet return to the floor. The wall walk progressively loads the shoulders, triceps, wrists, chest, and trunk while teaching orientation upside down.

HOW TO DO WALL WALK

  1. Step the feet upward while walking the hands toward the wall in small increments, keeping the elbows straight and trunk braced.
  2. Keep the movement deliberate, never slide or jump down, and leave room behind the hands.
  3. Start with a partial climb, use a non-slip surface, and finish before arm fatigue prevents a controlled descent.
