Single-Leg Press

Compound · Weight × reps

Release the safeties, lower the sled under control, then press through the working foot while the unused leg stays clear of the mechanism. Do not copy your two-leg load or let the sled pull you into a deeper range than you can stabilize. A slightly lighter load and deliberate pause near the bottom make side-to-side technique differences easier to notice without claiming the exercise will automatically correct them.

HOW TO DO SINGLE-LEG PRESS

  1. Set one foot securely on the platform and position the seat so you can bend that hip and knee without the pelvis twisting or lifting.
  2. Keep the knee tracking with the toes and hold your hips square against the pad.
