Seated Machine Hip Adduction — quadriceps isolation exercise in the LIFTAG library

Seated Machine Hip Adduction

Isolation · Weight × reps

Begin with the legs open only to a pain-free range, keep the pelvis and back supported, and draw the thighs together by adducting the hips. The seated hip-adduction machine trains the adductor group of the inner thigh; it does not directly guarantee knee stability. Choose a conservative starting width, keep the knees aligned with the machine path, and avoid letting the stack pull you into a forced groin stretch. Reduce the range or stop if the groin or hip feels pinched.
