Copenhagen Plank — abs exercise in the LIFTAG library

Copenhagen Plank

Time

The lower leg can touch the underside of the bench or hang free in the harder version. The Copenhagen plank strongly trains the hip adductors while the lateral trunk and supporting shoulder stabilize. Begin with the top knee, not the ankle, supported to shorten the lever, add duration gradually, and stop if groin, knee, or shoulder discomfort exceeds normal muscular effort.

  2. Brace, press the top leg into the support, and lift the pelvis until the head, trunk, and legs form a straight line.
