Begin with your elbows comfortably extended, keep your upper arms against the pad, and curl both handles toward your shoulders at the same time. Because the handles are linked, keep both arms contributing evenly throughout each repetition. The exercise primarily trains the biceps.

HOW TO DO DEPENDENT BICEPS CURL

  1. Adjust the seat so the backs of your upper arms rest fully on the pad and your elbows align closely with the machine's pivot.
  2. Grip the handles with your palms facing up and your wrists in a comfortable position.
  3. Pause briefly at the top, then lower the handles slowly without forcefully locking your elbows at the bottom.
  4. Keep your chest lifted and avoid using momentum or raising your elbows from the pad.
