How gyms roll out NFC tags.

This is not a fake testimonial

We are not inventing a named club and a 37% retention chart. The public fact on LIFTAG is the product shape: tags and a core dashboard that are free, and a catalog meant to be copied from one location to twelve. This page is the rollout those tools assume.

If you want hardware folklore (chip types, height, glare), use NFC tags for gym equipment. If you want the vendor matrix, use best gym QR and NFC app.

Location one

1. Walk the floor with the catalog open. Each frame gets one primary lift. A pulldown is lat pulldown, a chest press is machine chest press, not “upper body.”
2. Stick dual NFC + QR plates at a repeatable hand height. Same side of the frame on every machine so members stop hunting.
3. Tap every tag. Then scan the QR. Both must open the same exercise. A homepage is a failed install.
4. Front-desk script: “Tap the black plate, log the set.” If staff cannot demo it in ten seconds, the kit is not live.

Videos filmed on your equipment are optional on day one. Wrong labels plus pretty video is worse than no video.

Location two through twelve

The second club should not get a second folk taxonomy. Clone the machine map. Rename the room, not the lat pulldown. LIFTAG’s gym dashboard is built for that copy — the for gyms page is the product view of the same 1→12 path.

Differences that are real (a brand-specific selectorized stack, a missing hip thrust) stay as exceptions. Everything else stays the catalog slug the first floor already taught members.

What success looks like

• A new member logs a working set without searching the library.
• A trainer can send a plan that names the same slugs the tags open.
• A second location feels like the first when someone travels.
