HOW TO DO SINGLE-ARM KETTLEBELL SNATCH

  1. Hike one kettlebell between the legs from a hip hinge, then extend the hips forcefully and guide the bell upward close to the body.
  2. As it floats above the hand, punch the hand around the handle so the bell settles without striking the forearm, finishing overhead with a stable shoulder and straight elbow.
  3. Let it descend under control into the next swing or park it safely.
  4. The single-arm snatch transfers lower-body power through the trunk to an overhead catch.
  5. It is an advanced skill: first master the swing, clean, and high pull, use a light bell, and train where a missed repetition can be released safely.
